JACK GOODMAN
Lighting Designer
Jack is a freelance Lighting Designer and Assistant LD based out of Chicago, Illinois. Jack is a recent graduate from Columbia College Chicago, earning his BA in Theatre Design and Technology.

Jack was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona where he worked with companies such as 56th St Players, Horizon Choirs, Desert Stages Theatre, Samaritan Theatre Company, Grand Canyon University, and Arizona State University

In Chicago, Jack has designed for companies such as Columbia College Chicago, Timberlake Playhouse, Red Theater, Pride Arts, and Griffin Theatre Company.

Additionally, Jack has had the pleasure of working with Directors such as Jesse Carlo, Rooney G, Alison Dornheggen, Quenna Barrett, Aaron Reese-Boseman, Daryl Brooks, Dawn Trautman, Becca Holloway, Taylor Pasche, Dorothy Milne, Marquez Stewart, and David Weber. And assisting designers such as Heather Gilbert, Quinn Chisenhall, Josiah Croeghaert, Rose Johnson, and Kayla Trebat.

Jack is intrigued by musical theatre and loves the different ways that music can tell a story. Jack is also excited by contemporary pieces of mystery and drama and loves using light to help convey the emotion on stage. He loves new work and being part of the development process
